DOUG YEAGER

WINTER SEASON
HEAD COACH

Coach Doug Yeager is a Dallas High School alum who swam under former DHS Head Coach Matthew Stretanski finishing his high school swim career with a top 12 finish at the PIAA State Championship Meet in the 100 backstroke. After graduation, he attended and swam for Duquesne University achieving Academic All-Conference Awards and top 12 finishes at the Atlantic Ten Conference Championships as a backstroker and mid-distance freestyle swimmer from 2002-2006. 

Doug has been a swim coach for multiple school/club teams for the past 20 years.  He began his coaching career at DMAC (MTAC at the time) from summers 2003 (inaugural season)-2005. From 2006-2008, he was the head swim coach at Milford High School in Milford, DE finishing second and third in the district during the 06’/07’ and 07’/08’ seasons respectively. He went on to be an assistant coach at Central Dauphin East High School / Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, PA in 2009. From 2010-2012, he was an assistant coach at Penn Trafford Aquatic Club near Pittsburgh, PA while finishing up his Masters in Education and Vision Studies. Lastly, he made his return to Dallas in 2013 assistant coaching the 2013 and 2018 through 2023 DMAC winter seasons and summer DMAC seasons from 2014 to Present. 

Doug is employed at the Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18 as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments and an Orientation and Mobility Specialist providing educational services to children with blindness and visual impairments throughout various school districts in Luzerne and Wyoming counties. Additionally, Doug is employed by Luzerne County as an Early Interventionist through the Luzerne / Wyoming County Early Intervention Program providing specialized vision services to families with babies from ages birth to 3 years who are blind and visually impaired.

Davies

TAYLOR DAVIES

SUMMER SEASON
HEAD COACH

Coach Taylor Davies is a Dallas High School swim team alum under Coach Romayne Mosier and diving coaches Kim Kuzma, Arie Vankuyk and Matt Nonnenburg . Taylor started diving and being around the Dallas pool starting in 2004 with club diving. From there, Taylor attended Penn State University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology. A few years after graduating, Taylor returned to Penn State and was a part of the aquatics department running both lifeguard, swim instruction and Red Cross classes. She then transitioned over to the Penn State Swimming and Diving team. 

Taylor came back to Dallas in 2019 where she was the Graduate Assistant Coach for Misericordia University while she was getting her Master's in Business Administration. At the same time, Taylor was then coaching again with Kim Kuzma at Mountaineer Diving. Over the last 6 years Taylor has been running Mountaineer Diving Club with Kim, which has had great success. Taylor has also been helping coach with DMAC, as well, over the last few years. She has been offering swim lessons in the community for 15 years and has taken over the Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid , CPRand AED classes.

Taylor currently works for the Dallas School District as a kindergarten teacher. She has been in the Dallas School District and Tunkhannock Area School District teaching and subbing for the last 5 years after receiving her Master's in Education-Elementary Education. Taylor enjoys spending as much time as she can with kids or at the pool! She is thrilled to be able to help wherever is needed and loves being a part of the community in so many ways!
