LEARN-TO-SWIM LESSONS

Information

As a community service organization, DMAC’s mission is to provide aquatic programs for all ages and abilities. In addition to our competitive swim team programs, DMAC supports a learn-to-swim program for the children of our community.  No swimming experience is necessary. This summer season we will provide individual lessons. Toddlers will be required to wear a swim diaper if not potty trained.

Parent and Child Learn to Swim

Session 7

Our Parent and Child learn-to-swim program is a gentle, supportive, and fun introduction to the aquatic environment for infants and young children, typically aged 6 months to 3-4 years, with a parent or caregiver actively participating in the water. These classes focus on fostering water comfort, building essential swim readiness skills like bubble blowing and assisted floating, and water safety practices and drowning prevention techniques. Through songs, games, and positive reinforcement, the program creates a unique bonding experience while laying a safe and enjoyable foundation for a child's lifelong journey with water.  Lessons will be held at the Dallas Middle School Pool. The Registration fee is $40 and is non-refundable.

Session 7: (FULL)  12:15 PM - 12:45 PM, Monday to Thursday, 7/7, 7/8, 7/9, & 7/10
